Superposition: A New Album by Sam Lewis
Superposition- is the concept where a quantum system exists in multiple states simultaneously until observed or measured.
This succinctly captures the essence of my latest body of work. Beyond the dense physics, I've undergone profound personal growth over the past four years, navigating the complexities of embracing both my former self and a new identity simultaneously.
I wouldn't be here with you all. This album had to be made and now you can help me share it with the world by supporting its release.
For those familiar with my music over the years, this new sound may feel like a departure. Indeed, it is—a necessary evolution. Stepping into the studio, I relinquished control and any sense of preciousness over my songs for the first time. It was a daunting yet liberating experience, filled with terror, exhilaration, and boundless inspiration. Thankfully, I found myself in the hands of exceptionally creative and supportive collaborators during one of the most turbulent periods we've faced together.
While we've already made significant strides in this record, having recorded what I believe to be my best collection of songs to date, we're still some way from the finish line.
I'm reaching out to ask for your support through donations. Every donation becomes a part of the fabric of this project. I've taken great pleasure and care in crafting some fun and personal incentives - each one unique and special that I'm certain will appeal to you. Apart from contributing directly to this campaign, one of the most impactful things you can do is share this with your friends and community.
Your support means the world to me, and allows me to continue sharing stories and music that connect us all. I sincerely thank YOU from the bottom of my heart.
Your pledge equals rewards!
While we've already made significant strides in this record, having recorded what I believe to be my best collection of songs to date, we're still some way from the finish line. Join the journey here!
I've taken great pleasure and care in crafting these incentives, each one unique and special, including my personal 1971 Guild G-37 Acoustic Guitar. I'm confident you'll find something that resonates perfectly with you!
UK & NETHERLANDS TOUR - 2024
Calling all UK fans! Get ready for a December dose of soulful Southern songwriting. Nashville's own Sam Lewis is returning for a string of intimate shows. These concerts are all about connecting with the audience. " I always leave feeling like part of the family." Don't miss out - check the schedule and snag your tickets now!
Due to time constraints, I have to trim my UK tour to visit the Netherlands. My first time there was my last time - March 2020 - with the very talented Judy Blank. It was a blast but quite scary, we nearly got stranded in Milan before having to cut our tour short and boogie back to our homelands.
I saved a little room on the front end of this tour in hopes of getting back to Ireland - fingers crossed I can at least get back to Dublin - I swear I haven't forgotten you lovelies.
Glasgow - I'll miss you this time around - it's nothing personal why I'm not returning this year it's just that I've decided to visit our friends in Edinburgh - big thanks in advance to those of you who plan to travel to this one!
REMINDER - my Facebook Page is still compromised by hackers. Please know I'm not ignoring your messages/comments - I've not had access to my account since last year and I'm about to give up. Luckily my Instagram posts are still forwarding to my FB page somehow (I don't know how) but I'm happy you all are at least seeing my posts so feel free to message me on Instagram or email me back here!

Sam Lewis – Solo Loversity Records – 7 February 2020
If you’ve not encountered Sam Lewis before, the title might suggest this is a side project away from a more customary band setting. It refers to the fact that here, recorded live in the studio in front of an audience.

It’s just him rather than any of the many collaborations that have marked his studio and stage journey. As such, dubbed a modern Townes Van Sandt by Chris Stapleton, it finds him revisiting old material alongside a handful of new songs on a setlist of 19 numbers. Read more.....
